Midtown Manhattan
Midtown, or "Midtown" is the ares from 42nd Street to 59th Street east of 5th Avenue, and this is one of the most visited areas of New York. This is among a lot of other things where you can shop at Saks Fifth Avenue, see Manhattan from the top of the Empire State Building, or visit Radio City Music Hall.

Central Park with all its greenery is a popular oasis for recreation and concerts in the park. This is also where you will find Central Park Zoo and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

East Village includes Houston Street to 14th Street on the east side and furthermore includes the “Alphabet City” with the popular Tompkins Square Park. East Village is a culturally diverse area with a significant Polish and Ukrainian immigrant history and the restaurant row dubbed “Little India.” |

The diverse, intellectual and funky New York, where John Lennon lived and died, is the Upper West Side. Bordered by Riverside Park to the west and Central Park to the east, the neighborhood is so rich on culture, you could easily spend a whole week here, even though Midtown is only a short taxi-ride away.

West Village is generally the area of Greenwich Village west of Seventh Avenue. Greenwich Village still has a bohemian air about it, although quite a few wealthy people have settled here. West village is booming with eateries, restaurants, designer boutiques, street performers and if you are a Jazz entusiast, you might want to check out the legendary Blue Note Jazz Club.
