crossing a part of your journey saves
petrol and gives you a needed rest on
the way.

Lets say you want to visit Jersey, one of
the Channel Islands between France
and the UK, well then you use the Fare
Search above to select your outward
route.
If you don’t know from which ports you
can find ferries to Jersey, scroll down in
the drop-down-menu “Select Outward
Route” to find Jersey, and see which
ports you can sail to from Jersey.

You will find that you can sail to Jersey
from Guernsey and Sark, two other
Channel Islands, from St. Malo, Carteret
and Granville in France and finally from
Poole, Portsmouth and Weymouth in the
UK. Now you can choose the port you
want to leave from and book.

Lets say you decide to
book from Poole
to Jersey and click on that option, then
you also have to choose return or single
ticket and fill out how many passengers
and finally choose whether you want
the price in Euro or Pound.

Then you hit the search button, which
will redirect you to the booking page
where you have to choose a date, time,
operator, with or without car, info on
your car and finally choose your seating
onboard. Then you get a quote.

At this point you have achieved getting
a price for a specific date, whether you
choose to book or not is entirely up to
you. Feel free to use the fare search to
get a price. Getting a price is a step in
planning your holiday. You might also
want to check out what the price is from
another port.

If you choose to book – you click
continue and go through the secure
steps of booking and paying. Shortly
after your booking you will receive an e-
mail confirming your booking.

You have to bring a copy of this to the
port and show it at the check in, where
you then get your ticket.
